takoh, or coconut custard pudding:
tapioca flour mixed with heavy coconut cream, coconut pulp and sugar, thoroughly mixed then steamed to create an intense coconut custard. it’s often prepared in banana leaf wrappers topped with a rose petal.

Ooh sounds so interesting. Haven’t eaten this but it looks similar to a milk based sweet from India. Where does this dessert come from?

you probably have similar desserts. we use coconut milk though.
