Living in the tropics, there is no clear distinctions between seasons. It hot, hotter and damn hot days! Only sunny days and rainy days – and the rainy season is while away. We’re moving into the summer- the really uncomfortably damn hot days.
A couple weeks ago was the Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year, essentially, it the spring festival. Here are three beauties celebrating the festival in their red cheongsam.

I went for a walk in Chinatown during the festivities for the Lunar New Year and had a grand time. She saw my camera and tried to move away but I caught her anyway. Love that color on her. It’s unusual for see eggplant color of the Lunar New Year.

I am jumping ahead in the sequence of colors here. It’s the Lunar New Year and it’s the Year of the Monkey.
This fuzzy wuzzy brown monkey is displayed in the walkway outside a major mall in major train junction downtown Bangkok.
