The past weekend I went to the old city to explore (again) and capture these shamrock colored windows and doors. The Portuguese-styled shophouses was the architecture of the day during late 1800’s. This enclave of shophouses is commendable in renovating thre buildings.

Hand woven bamboo containers with mango wood base and elephant carving lids were some of the products that with sold in the OTOP fair.
This ornately decorated door can be found at Wat Rachapradit, circa 1864, behind Saronrom Park near to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho.
Walking to the train station, I noticed a new boutique hotel and decided to drop in. They have decorated the lobby with many defunct machines like this word processor. I haven’t seen one of these machines since 1980’s.
