Charoen Krung Road is a major road in Bangkok, built during 1862–1864, which passes through Chinatown on through Bang Rak all the way to Bang Kho Laem, serving mostly the expat society during that era. In the present day, many of the historical building sites along the road are facing drastic changes due to extension of the MRT underground train system.
